• WARRANTY SAFETY & QUALITY COORDINATOR

    ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Coordinate and track safety training and certifications for all staff and subcontractors
    • Assess new vendors for proper safety and quality control
    • Conduct, coordinate, and track safety/product trainings and toolboxes for construction, design and warranty staff
    • Conduct, track and report on general jobsite safety inspections. Tracking safety and incident violations and corrections
    • Review, track, and oversee product or installation trends or concerns. Implement or facilitate changes as needed
    • Facilitate and oversee warranty service requests and/ or closing exception items that require extensive remediation or repairs
    • Oversee new hire training and orientation for field and warranty staff
    • Train and work with Construction for the various homebuyer Orientations and related Eliant Survey responses
    • Act as a substitute for warranty and field staff as needed
    • Review and provide training for Quality Walks and Field Inspections
    • Maintain all dust control and S.W.P.P. permits and audit projects as needed

    DAILY DUTIES

    • Utilize database to view and manage warranty requests and or closing exceptions
    • Schedule and manage safety walks and training
    • Develop and maintain good rapport with contractors and ensure quality work
    • Communicate with staff daily to address concerns in a timely and professional manner

    QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

    • 5-7 years of related field service experience for a production home builder
    • 3 years of Warranty and Customer Care experience
    • 3 years of experience in construction safety, S.W.P.P. and Dust Control
    • Microsoft Office and experience with Scheduling Software and Excel a must
    • Must be familiar with creating and establishing policies and procedures including training manuals and inspection forms/request

    PREFERRED SKILLS

    • Additional knowledge, skills and or abilities include: OSHA 10 hour, MCADQ certified for 3-hour or Comprehensive, CPR certified. Must have ability to create forms and templates.

    ADDITIONAL NOTES

    • Valid driver’s license and transportation required at all times.
